Resumo
The aim of the session is to examine the relationship between Decolonial investigations and Eurocentric epistemology. The seminar will examine attempts to articulate non-Eurocentric epistemology as a decolonial gesture and the possibility of recovery of lost knowledges. It will focus on the way in which the Western canon is universalised and what that means. Is there a universal epistemology? The session will offer a series of reflections and mediations on this question.
