Programme

1) Web of Science  and other databases of Web of Knowledge platform  [2 hours]
Web of Science: Problematic of authors homonyms and variants of institutions’ names
Presentation of the Research ID and Organization-Enhanced. Analysis by category of data resulting from research. Producing a citation report from the results page and the Marked List. Searching cited references.
Search history recording (History Search) and creating email alerts.
Creating citation alerts through email. Data file recording, using the Basic EndNote bibliographical references software and/or submission of the same by email. Brief presentation of each search database on the Web of Knowledge Research Platform. Searching all databases (Search All Database).

2) EndNote - Basic [20 minutes]
Recording bibliographic references imported from different sources; Web of Knowledge, Internet, or from a previously recorded file. Managing and using these for a scientific paper preparation.

3) Journal Citation Reports [20 minutes]
Definition of  two and five years Impact Factor.  Analysis of Impact Factor in relation to other journals in the same field and within the same category.

Target audience: Teachers, students and librarianship professionals

Registrations are free,  mandatory, and limited to  26 trainees
