Overview
Main goal: This training course has as main goal to develop the abilities of users to:
1. Use the B-ON and JSTOR catalogues and databases, restricted access databases

Introduction to NSB spaces: a) Journals' Room, 25 April Room, Archives (PPs; REF; Reports; Monographies; 25 April DC)
1. Introduction to NSB services: Home loan; Photocopying and Scanning Service; Reservations;
2. Introduction to the contents of WebOPAC or WebPAC, i.e.Bibliographical Catalogue: Types of bibliographic research:
a) Simple Search: selecting the option of a term - Any field; Author; Title; Subject; Matter; Quota; etc.);
b) Advanced Search: Crossing of terms - Author and Subject; Title and Subject,
Afternoon (14h30-18h)
3. Access to databases and research elaboration:
a) B-On (what is B-On; VPN access; Access limitations);
b) JSTOR (What is JSTOR; Access limitations)
- Information retrieval and management;
4. Access to open access databases
