Biography

André de Brito Correia is a research fellow at CES, a member of the Research Group on Cities, Cultures, and Architecture Studies, a lecturer at School of Economics, University of Coimbra. He has a BA and a MA at School of Economics, University of Coimbra. He has a PhD at the same university and at the Ecole des hautes etudes en sciences sociales (Paris). He wrote his PhD thesis on the theatrical experience. His current research interests are artistic creation, theatrical activity and urban cultures, actors/public relationship. He is the author of the book "Arte como Vida e Vida como Arte - Sociabilidades num contexto de criação artística" (Collection "Saber Imaginar o Social", published by Editora Afrontamento).
