Associate Researcher at the Trauma Center of the Center for Social Studies (CES) of the University of Coimbra. BA in Applied Psychology, Clinical Psychology area, ISPA, Professional Card No. 900 of OPP. Clinical Private Practice, Accredited Practitioner in EMDR by EMDR Europe Association, Brainspotting therapist, with diverse backgrounds in the area of stress and crisis intervention, which includes certified by ICISF "Crisis Intervention - Single Crisis Intervention and Peer Support", "Crisis Intervention - Group Crisis Intervention" and Traumatic Incident Reduction - TIR certified by AMI (Applied Metapsychology International),Member since 2012/11 of Centro de Trauma-CES/UC (Trauma Center) and European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS), 1st Training Course in Psychotraumatology, organized by the CES Trauma Centre, certified by the ESTSS. Trainer at the Judiciary Police Academy (EPJ) teaches the components related to stress and the police work, prevention and intervention in critical incidents and crisis intervention for police officers. Apart from training, clinical care provided to employees of PJ until October 2014, develops scientific research in the projects of the Psychology Department and Selection EPJ, particularly in health studies, stress and critical incidents in police work context.
