About
This exhibition will be divided into 11 modules (What? Portuguese, History, Historiography, Fascism, Colonialism, Democracy, Social, Women, Education, Research, Pop) and will be accompanied by an international colloquium on these themes, involving researchers and political agents.
Based at the Centre for Social Studies in Coimbra and funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, the research project «(EU)ROPA | Rise of Portuguese Architecture: Fundamentals, Platform, Progression» aims to identify, systematise, characterise and expose one of the most celebrated phenomena of contemporary culture - Portuguese architecture - and confront its history, ideas and methods with a changing world.
