Carmina Bascarán - Activist and co-founder of the Centre for the Defence of Life and Human Rights of Açailandia, Brazil. Distinguished with the National Award for Human Rights of Brazil in 2005.
Jessica Fernandez - Social activist, MA in International Relations and International Political Economics at the University of Coimbra, PhD candidate of the Development Studies Programme at the Higher Institute of Economics and Management at the University of Lisbon, collaborating researcher at the Centre for African, Asian and Latin American Studies
Marina Fasanello is a journalist and art educator, PhD candidate of the Postgraduate Programme in Health Information and Communication (PPGICS) of the Institute of Communication, Scientific and Technological Information of the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (ICICT/FIOCRUZ), with a PHD exchange course ate the Centre for Social Studies of the University of Coimbra, under supervision of Professor João Arriscado Nunes.
Patrícia Simón Freelance journalist, has worked at Canal Sur TV and also as deputy editor of Periodismo Humano and has published articles in several newspapers (such as Pikara Magazine, Vice News, Cuarto Poder, El Mundo and La Vanguardia). She is a lecturer in the course "Journalism focused on human rights as a tool for social transformation" at the Institut de Drets Humans, Catalunya. In addition to producing documentaries, she has experience in designing awareness, advocacy and education campaigns for NGOs such as Nohabrapazsinlasmujeres.com, Saharauisi.org, Sobreviviralebola.org and Personasquesemueven.org. She has also participated in conferences on journalism, human rights and the feminist focus on the Colombian conflict and trafficking in the sex industry. In 2013, she won the Women of the Media (AMECO) award.
