Organised by the North|South Library in collaboration with CES researcher Carlos Nolasco (since 2025), the “Series -Readings in cultural and linguistic diversity”, brings people together through the pleasure of reading.

The sessions are organised by PhD candidates, and are open to everyone at the University of Coimbra who wish to meet to read poetry, fiction and other texts in the various languages that make up the different communities of the UC.

Since June 2022, this series has had the collaboration of the General Library of the University of Coimbra, with the readings taking place in the Sala de São Pedro, thus opening up the event to the entire academic community.
