Overview

The coronavirus pandemic poses a grave health threat to indigenous peoples around the world. This letter exposes the treats indigenous communities experience in Brazil, including lack of to healthcare, lack of access to essential services, sanitation, etc. In this letter it is pleaded the Bolsonaro administration in Brazil to immediately reverse its current posture of minimizing the threat of COVID-19 and take steps to protect Brazil's vulnerable populations, including its Indigenous and traditional peoples.
